Welcome to our new members and hope everyone had a nice July 4th weekend.  Thank you to everyone who came out last Thursday for our pre-July 4th gathering.  The May River Grill was busy, but Yesi and Darryl couldn’t have been more gracious and I don’t think any of the diners minded a little cigar smoke from the fire pit.

A number of people lamented that we wouldn’t have a July gathering.  I never pass up an opportunity to get the group together, so we are planning on an impromptu gathering tomorrow, Thursday, July 7th, at the May River Grill fire pit from 5-8pm.  The MRG will be closed due to COVID, but I have contacted the member’s office and the fire pit is fair game.  The bathrooms will also be open.  For our new members, please note that our modus operandi is for everyone to bring their own cigar(s) and (if they choose) to bring a spirit of their choice to share.  I will bring cups, but it would be great if someone could bring ice.  I also bring extra cigars for anyone in need.

Last, please keep your calendar open for either Wednesday, August 3rd, or Thursday, August 4th.  I will confirm the exact date soon, but we will hold our August gathering on one of those dates.  I hope to also confirm dates soon for September and October.
